As the Via Crucis (Stations of the Cross bring us to Jesus suffering, Via Lucis follows the Scriptures describing all events after Resurrection leading to the Pentecost, it is a meditation of the primary fact of our faith: Jesus' resurrection from which the world's history has changed forever.
The procession is led by a Paschal Candle and each person will walk with a small candle. Each of the 14 stations of Via Lucis will have a Scriptural reading and spontaneous prayer/singing time.

We will be inside the church, please wear masks inside and social distance, remaining in groups of families.
Tenebrae (Lat. darkness) is an ancient Holy Week service of shadows where we mournfully chant and read the Liturgy of the Hours, other Scriptures with commentaries while distinguish each candle’s light until darkness surrounds the sanctuary.
What will happen? You will be enveloped in sounds and visuals that will take you to the Passion, Death and Silence of Christ. Additionally to what is described above, we will sing Taize songs, expend Liturgy of the Hours by meditative singing Lectio Divina based on the Psalms. Our focus is intercessory prayer for various intentions since Good Friday is the day when the whole Church intercedes continually for the world to receive the salvation of Christ.
